As a Manager - Information Technology (IT) Security, you will lead and oversee the development, implementation, and maintenance of security measures that protect Department of National Defence (DND) information systems and data. You will manage a team of IT security professionals and coordinate with other departments to ensure compliance with federal security standards and regulations. Your work is critical to safeguarding Canada's defence capabilities and sensitive government information from cyber threats and unauthorized access.
Your day-to-day responsibilities will include supervising IT security staff, developing security policies and procedures, conducting risk assessments, and responding to security incidents. You will work closely with IT operations teams, senior management, and external partners including the Canadian Centre for Cyber Security and other government agencies.
